More Winter

Well 6 more weeks and the weather should clear up and get warm. That's what we're all hoping for because enough is enough. This has been a very cold winter so far and the only ones happy about it is the power companies. Everything I've read says there's a huge reserve of natural gas and all the wind generaters are putting out electricity. Why can't the power companies cut us some slack on our monthly bills. I just gigure when you're used to making several billion dollars in profits you just can't giving anything back to the people. Oh well, who knows, someday?

I'm Still Here

Hey, not by choice as you probably know. I didn't win the lottery Wednesday night so I'll just have to try again Saturday and see if that's better. Somebody has to win and I could really use it. I'd like to see what it's like to be stinking rich one day and broke a year later like so many other winners have done. Well my buddies are ready to try again and we're saving our pop and beer cans to sell for cash to buy tickets with.

Today's The Day

My friend stops anddrinks a beer with me about once a week. When he stops he brings me a bunch of empty pop cans and bottles. I take all of them and redeam them and iuse the money for a lottery ticket. The powerball drawing is tonight and we decided that tonight we're going to win something. The last 15 drawings we only matched 1 number so it's time to win. Everyone will get a little even if it isn't the jackpot. I think something would be nice but of course I would take the jackpot and share it too.

The Bailout

I wish the government would just give every adult citizen of these United States a check for say $25,000. I know that would solve all of my problems and probably over 50% of the rest of the country. The other 50% would have a great head start on their lives. I wonder if that would come to more than 700 billion dollars. Think of all the people that it would really help. Right now the way it looks is the CEO's are the only ones who are going to gain anything. Well, Barack I hope you have a plan better than the guy that just left. Think about the little guy first.

One More Time

Hey guess what, we had 3 days above zero and people were running to the stores like they were crazy. I even got my car washed today but tomorrow it's heading below zero again so I may not get in it. That would be cute to wash it so it looks good and then not get the doors open so you can show people you do wash it. I wasn't the only one with the idea because there were a lot getting washed today. If my doors freeze shut at least I won't be alone there will be lots ofthem out there.

Getting Old's Tough

When I say tough I mean by the time you get one thing figured out, somebody has to upgrade it so you start over again. There are somany things to learn aboutthe computer I'll never live long enough to learn half of them. I have a lot of friends that say they will show mehow to do things on the old Pute but never have the time. The thing that's agravating is when they want something done for them who do they call. They say oh I'm sorry I was going to help you and I got so busy I just forgot. I'll be over Friday but they never say which Friday. I do have a couple really good friends that are always there for me and never want more than a beer or two.
