Anniversary

Today is August 30th 2007 and on August 30th 1967 my late wife and I were married. On Christmas morning 1998 cancer won the fight with her and I was left alone. that was 40 years ago when we got married but it was more like last week. She had 3 children by a previous marriage and so did I so we combined them all and carried on. soon it got down to just her and I and we were making plans for retirement. The month after I retired she died from the cancer and all plans for the future stopped. Well anyway it was 40 years ago today that we were so happy and one day we;ll find those happy times again.
