Spring - Where Are You?

Would you believe it snowed a little again last night? Is it never going to end? I thought it was supposed to start warming up but it is cloudy again today and you can't get much warmth out of clouds. It does seem to melt a little snow now and then, but I don't know if it is catching up with it or not. Seems like a little melts and more comes down. Everyone has aching backs from shoveling and I am thankful I have a snowblower or it would really be miserable. Come on Spring - we are ready for you. Did you know it is only 14 more days till the first day of Spring and it sure doesn't look like it.

Colds, Flu, Whatever

Well it caught me - the flu, bad cold, sinus, the works. I feel rotten and not really up to posting today. Besides that, it is so darned cold out and it doesn't want to quit snowing. They are talking more tonight again. Whoopee!! Just what I need - to have to go out and move snow when I am feeling so bad. I just heard the weatherman and it sounds like it could miss us so guess there is hope yet. For now, I am staying in all I can, staying warm and trying to get my strength back again. I had the flu shot but they say there is a flu around that the shot doesn't work on, and I think I got it.
