It's Finally Dry

The grass has dried out enough to get it mowed. I went out yesterday and mowed the storage lot and it really looks good. Today they're talking more rain tonight and tomorrow and again Sunday and Monday so mowing will have to wait. Now that it's been cut it will grow faster and I'll be mowing every week or so and earn a few dollars. It's not a lot but it does buy milk and bread and maybe eggs too. It is so nice to look out the window and see everything green and pretty instead of being buried under a foot of snow. Soon we'll be eating fresh fish caught in the lake a half block away from my house. Summer is here at last.

Shopping Day

We are going shopping today over the line in the next state. It is isn't very far and we want to see a couple new stores there and see what we can find for bargains. It is a beautiful day to get out and take a short road trip in my van. My friend is as anxious as I am to get shopping and take a mini vacation from working hard the last few days.

Tomorrow is the Big Day

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I need to get to the store and get something for my special friend. Everyone says women want flowers and candy so guess I will go see if I can find a beautiful box of candy I can afford. She will be surprisedbvg

Shopping Day

It's Saturday and time to run up to Menards and get some stuff to fix a few things around the house. Have a new door and storm door and that sure is nice and keeps out all the cold air that was coming in through it. Will have to do some other stuff too. Better get busy.
