Dining Room Tables

It has been a really long winter and I have been cooped up in the house a great deal of the time. It gets you down looking at the same walls and furniture day in and day out. And it especially seems to raise your moral to get something new in the house. I have been looking at my dining room and also at new Dining Room Tables. Styles have changed so much since I got mine and it kind of exciting looking at all the different tables they have now days. I was thinking it would be kind of neat to get one with a glass table top. It certainly would make a big change in my house. I have checked the Internet to see what is available and there is a big variety to choose from. There are a number of beautiful woods and other materials, as well. It is hard to decide whether to get a round table, a rectangular one or a square table. There are so many choices, I know it is going to take me awhile to decide which one I want. Also it has to fit into my dining room too so have to be sure and not get one that is too big and takes over the room. It has already raised my moral just thinking about them and trying to decide which table I like best and how many chairs I will need to go with it.

Snow Isn't Bad Sometimes

My friend has 2 pickups with snow blades mounted to them. He called me and asked if I wanted to push snow for him and I said sure. I'm retired and love it when something I can do comes up. I'm particially disabled and can't do a whole lot of things I used to 10 years ago. Driving a pickup and pushing snow is just what I like so I made a few dollars and helped pay this months bills. It would be nice if I could do that every month.

Snow storm

Boy did we get some snow this week. I'm glad it wasn't as much as Baltimore got with it's 5 feet of snow. We got about 12 inches but it was enough when there isn't any place to put it anymore. The drifts along the roads are 5 feet high and the corners are at least 8 feet. You have to pull into trafic and then look both ways. You can't see if there's anything coming if you stay behind the crosswalk.

Buy Gold Bullion

I would like to gather all the money I could together and buy gold bullion. Many people do not realize the great value of investing in gold. No matter what the dollar does, gold always keeps its value. Recently it was announced That funds would soon be traded at the Thailand stock market. Of course, everything needs to be approved by the Bank of Thailand, however, the Capital Market Supervisory Board is going to oversee everything. This is very good because it will regulate the investing of gold overseas but also it will regulate investing in the local market. You will be sure you are investing in the purest gold as well. It is a great new opportunity for everyone wishing to secure their investments by investing in gold.

The day The Music Died

In February 1959 buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Richie Valens doed in a small plane crash in Clear Lake, Iowa. Every year the crowd that comes to celebrate gets bigger and bigger. The only thing is there are so many people bringing their kids andI don't think they should. There is dancing and a whole lot of drinking that goes with the celebrating and it's no place for kids. It's bad enough knowing the kids are there but are their parents that will drive them home some of the real drunks. I'm sorry but in my book it all leaves a whole lot to be desired.

Buddy Holly

The rock and roll legend Buddy Holly was killed in a plane crash north of Clear Lake Iowa in 1959. He and the Big Bopper and Richie Valens just completed a performance at the Surf ballroom in Clear Lake and were flying to Minneapolis when the small plane crashed in a snow storm killing all three of them. every year at this time Clear Lake holds a winter music fest to celebrate The rock and roll music of these three great legends in rock and roll. The celebration started last night and goes on until Sunday and brings a lot of visitors into Clear Lake. I live here and enjoy the fun that goes on.
