I have been to Ukraine several times for this exact purpose. There is much "hype" and much "advice" on the i-net telling men "how to go about" meeting foreign women (for marriage). Like most men, I began by going through the seemingly endless process of lookin'-n-searchin'-n-writin' (women) on different websights. If you are genuinely interested in doing this - and being successful at it - I suggest you speak to someone who has actually completed the process - so as to cut through (what I found to be) "mis-information" and to overcome (what I found to be) the lack of good and accurate information out there.
Believe me, some good advice could have saved me LOTS of wasted time and money.
I don't know if I just got lucky (or what), but . . . I now am the proud (and happy) husband of one of those beautiful and loving Ukrainian women (brides).
Although there are many scams out there - From my personal experience (for those men who are so inclined towards non-American brides) - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
One final note - Age was not my sole criteria in deciding which women to meet/date - It just worked out that I am 22 years her senior ;-)
