Two Weeks Left

Christmas is just around the corner now and it's cold enough to make you think you're at the north pole. Santa will have to bring us back with the toys. I have to swing by the grocery store for provisions or starve. I hate the thought of even going out because my bad lungs will scream about the cold and make me wish I stayed inside. Lots of things to do to pass the time. I have about 20 things I want to read on various subjects of interest to me. Any regular time I try to read I get sleepy and have to quit. Today is one of those days I can read a long time and just get it done. Usually when I really feel like reading, someone calls and needs my help right away or sooner. Well, like I just said, there goes the phone and my friend needs my help so see ya later.

Turn It Around

Have you ever noticed that some people have good luck in just about everything they do.There are some people who don't mind bending the rules to get there first and they do. Others just go with the flow and survive with what they have and just enjoy life as it comes. I think of being lucky as waking up every morning and being thankful for having another one. Tomorrow that will be the highkight of that day too. Life just gives you the best you need to get by and you do the rest to make it perfect. Some lives aren't perfect but nobody said it would be you just have to keep believing.

Hot And Muggy

Well we didn't get the rain they predicted last night. So guess what the temps will stay up there in the 90's and the humidity will skyrocket. That guy on TV that everyone is starting to dislike says hot and muggy. This is exactly the kind of weather that discomboobilates me and leaves me puffing and gasping for breath. I hate it when tying your shoes is an effort that leaves you exhausted. "Whatever".
