When you get ready to retire you had better have a retirement plan where you work. If you don't you'll find out the hard way that social security just isn't enough to live on. If you or your spouse gets sick with a bad disease like cancer you can watch your savings go down the drain in a hurry. Many couples have planned on retirment for years and just before it happens one of them gets sick and everything is washed down the tubes.I enjoy blogging and the few dollars here and there help me keep my head above water.
