New Nephew

This my latest new nephew. My sister's daughter is holding her grandson, Caysen. They have 5 grandchildren already and she is only 53. Her twins both had babies at the same time, 2 years apart, twice and made them double grandparents twice so now they have 5 grandchildren already. I am glad it is them though that has to take care of them. That is a lot of work for the parents. Makes you appreciate all the more all the work our own Mom did for us.

Nephew

I have a brand new nephew. He decided to make his appearance about 10 days early. I guess he wanted his own special birthday. He is a cute little guy as you can see. His little brother and sister are really excited to get him home from the hospital. I hear that might be tomorrow afternoon. They got to go to the hospital with their grandpa and grammy to see their new brother and they were really excited.

Growing Up

Here is my little nephew looking out the window to see the snow. He hasn't been walking very long but he sure knows how to get around the house. He is a climber and climbs up on everything. His Mom has to keep a very careful eye on him as she never knows what he is going to do next. Right now he is content to look out the window and watch the snow fall. We are going to have some more so there will be more for him to watch.

New Nephew

My niece had a new baby boy on November 23. That was also the birthday of her Uncle so he was quite excited about it. He weighed in at 7 # 14 oz and has a little 2 year old sister. She thinks he is pretty nice. Their grandpa and grammy are staying at the house taking care of their grandchild until the mother gets out of the hospital with the new baby. The grandmother found out it isn't so easy taking care of a 2 year old after you reach 50 :0)

My Sister's Birthday

I almost forgot that today is my sister's 61st birthday. It is hard to imagine that my little sister is that old already. Her son is coming down from Chicago to visit her and she is worried about him driving in all the blowing snow. I guess he is going to wait until tomorrow, which is a good thing. Things should be more settled down by then and the roads should be plowed out. It is a beautiful sunny day here but she says they are having snow there. They are kind of in a spot that alot of bad weather goes around them and that is good. Her husband drives semi to Wisconsin and Wisconsin is really getting it bad. I have a nephew up there that has a dog kennel and I am sure he is having quite a time getting to it. They have a good tractor and blade though so that makes a difference. His folks are in Arizona enjoying the sunshine while he fights the weather. Well, guess I'll go take a nap.
