What? More Rain?

I can't believe it but it rained again last night. Thunder and rain woke me up at 4:00 A.M. and kept it up till about 5:00 A.M. so it was a fairly good rainfall. The farmers say it's needed for the corn to fill out the ears and I can see their point. The thing about it is it won't hurt anything. The flowers and shrubs can all use it not to mention the grass. I just hate mowing the grass so I could live without it there. Then again I always thought blacktopping my lawn would be good.
